BD DIFCO FREUNDS ADJUVANTS 

BD Difco Freund’s Adjuvants are used worldwide for antibody production, modelling of autoimmune diseases in animals, and in vaccine development. BD Difco Freund's adjuvants are a water-in-oil emulsion that contain mineral oil, a surfactant, and killed mycobacterial organisms. There are two types of Freund's adjuvants: Complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA) and Incomplete Freund's adjuvant (IFA). The difference is that CFA contains mycobacteria, while IFA does not.
