Unsealed open sterile vials in sealed plastic trays. Routinely used in packaging sterility testing media (trypticase soy broth, fluid thioglycollate medium, etc). USP Type 1 borosilicate glass vials are washed using USP WFI water, followed by depyrogenation and ethylene oxide sterilization. These vials are fully tested for USP sterility and endotoxin level compliance standards.
